My background as a first-generation student from a rural area informs my pedagogical goals to help student develop skills and perspectives to examine and understand our social world by employing transparent teaching techniques to benefit students of all backgrounds.Â
I have independently taught over 2,500 undergraduate students of all ages and backgrounds over the past decade. My experience spans different modes and subfields in sociology to meet the needs of different types of universities.
